Fusion Research

A nuclear fusion device that uses centrifugal force to stably confine plasma.

Centrifugal Force Constrained
Plasma and Nuclear Fusion

By causing a spherical hollow container to rotate simultaneously around longitudinal and transverse axes, the generated inertial centrifugal force uniformly distributes dense liquid metal on all inner walls of the container, confining a spherical plasma at the center.

This method enables long-term plasma confinement, with the liquid metal layer serving to protect the container's inner walls from plasma damage, shield neutrons, regenerate fuel and reflect thermal radiation from the plasma.
